Brad Pitt has been enlisted by luxury specialty coffee maker manufacturer De’Longhi as its new brand ambassador. The Oscar winner actor stars in a commercial directed by Damien Chazelle (the La La Land director).
The spot features Pitt riding his motorcycle out to the city and buying a bag of coffee beans. He then rides back to his remote home, where he makes a cup of coffee using his De’Longhi Dinamica Plus coffee maker. Sitting in an armchair, he enjoys his “perfect” moment and a smile brights up his face.
“Perfect, from bean to cup” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which features music composed by Justin Hurwitz.
The brand’s Dinamica Plus coffee maker is available for purchase $1,399.95.
Pitt is no stranger to advertisements. He has also starred in ads for Heineken, Levi’s, Honda, Rolex, Toyota, Miraval Rosé and more.
Sonal Modi, senior integrated marketing manager, coffee category at De’Longhi Group, said in a press statement that “Brad Pitt was the obvious choice as there was a natural alignment between the brand and him on values, passion for coffee and having a strong global influence reaching the same fans everywhere”.
