Chase has released a new ad starring Kevin Hart to promote its Chase Freedom Unlimited card.
The spot features the actor and two friends in front of a cabin they rented in the mountains for a short stay. When his fellows say that it’s beautiful out there, he answers that it sure is and takes the opportunity to tell them that he earns 5% cash back on travel purchased through Chase with Chase Freedom Unlimited, which means that he earns 5% on their rental car, 5% on their cabin. At this point, he feels like shouting from the top of his lungs “Hellooooo, cash back”, which he does, but what happens next scares him more than a bit. The echo answers back, saying his name.
The commercial ends with the voiceover urging viewers to “Earn big time with Chase Freedom Unlimited with no annual fee” and asking “How do you cashback?”.
Onscreen lines inform that card members also get 3% at drugstores, 5% on travel purchased through Chase, and 1.5% on everything else they buy.
Restrictions and limitations apply.
The award-winning stand-up comedian, actor and producer has starred in several other ads for Chase. In 2019, he signed a multi-year deal to host workshops and spots with the bank around financial fitness. Chase has also teamed up with several other celebrities for its ad campaigns, including Serena Williams and Jason Wu.
