Volvo Trucks has launched a new ad campaign, titled “Happy Drivers, Happy Dogs,” to highlight the benefits of their fuel-saving technology.
The spot, created by Forsman & Bodenfors, Sweden, features a diverse cast of dogs of different breeds in a Volvo VNL with Turbo Compound, which is offering more power and more torque for less fuel, saving up to 16% fuel.
The drivers’ four-legged friends are enjoying the ride keeping their heads out of the window so that the wind could blow their fur.
“Happy drivers, happy dogs. Finally, saving fuel is fun. The Volvo VNL with Turbo Compound. More power. More torque. Less fuel.” onscreen lines read at the end of the commercial, which is set to the tune of the 2021 single “The Perfect Day” by Swedish musician Rico Won (Henrik Franchetti by his real name) feat. Kareem.
The automaker informs that fleets that run variable load applications, including tanker, bulk haul and flat-bed deliveries, can benefit from Volvo’s next-generation Turbo Compound system.
