McDonald’s promotes its McSpicy in UK in a new advert, dubbed “First Bites”.
The spot features the reactions of a diverse cast of people who are eating the McSpicy, described as the chain’s “hottest burger yet”, while in the background Nelly’s 2002 single “Hot In Herre” (from his second studio album, “Nellyville”) plays.
Made with chicken fillet (which features spicy marinade and a crispy coating), lettuce and mayo, all between toasted sesame seed buns, the McSpicy costs £5.49 and is available for purchase since Wednesday, 14 July, at participating locations, after 11AM. Orders via the My McDonald’s App will come with a free bottle of Happy Meal Milk to help cool down burning tongues.
The fast-food chain is encouraging fans to head online to join the #McSpicyDebate on social media by answering “How McSpicy is it for you?”
