The trailer for MGM’s upcoming movie House of Gucci has been released.
The true-crime drama, based on Sara Gay Forden’s book and directed by Ridley Scott from a screenplay by Roberto Bentivegna and Becky Johnston, revolves around the murder of fashion trailblazer Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver), orchestrated by his wife at the time, Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga).
The movie spans three decades of love, betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder, and aims to show what a name means, what it’s worth, and how far a family will go for control.
The cast also includes Salma Hayek, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Camille Cottin, Jack Huston, Jeremy Irons, Reeve Carney, Madalina Ghenea, Mia McGovern Zaini, and more.
The trailer, set to Blondie’s single “Heart of Glass,” gives viewers a glimpse at the true crime biopic, at lavish lifestyle Maurizio, grandson of Guccio Gucci, founder of the Italian fashion house, and his wife, Patrizia, led, and very public battle for control of Gucci.
House of Gucci will be released to theaters on November 24.
