Heineken celebrates the return to social life with seniors having carefree fun, to encourage also the young to get vaccinated, in its latest ad campaign, called “The Night Is Young”.
Created by Publicis Italy and Le Pub, the spot features vaccinated seniors enjoying a care-free night out, dancing in a club and going on the beach at dawn.
“The night belongs to the vaccinated. Time to join them.” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which is set to the rhythms of the 1978 single “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)” by American disco/R&B singer Sylvester.
“The Night Is Young” campaign, which promotes Heineken’s #FreshBeginnings platform, encouraging people to make the most of the end of lockdown, is set to air on digital channels and TV across Europe and the US throughout the summer.
Sharon Walsh, commercial director of Heineken Ireland, said in a statement that “Fresh Beginnings” was designed to help an industry-wide recovery to generate footfall and inject cash into pubs.
