Furniture brand Swyft Home has launched its first TV ad campaign, which aims to position the brand’s sofas as “the icon of the living room”.
The TV spot, created by agency 20something and directed by Jara Moravec at KODE Media, depicts a variety of everyday scenarios which include people and their pets on the sofa. Shots that are typically slow are juxtaposed with fast cuts, highlighting the importance of a sofa in one’s house. A girl lounging on her sofa with her dog, an old lady eating a biscuit, a mother looking for a specific object under the sofa, which is covered in toys, as well as various accidents, such as coffee and wine spills, are featured throughout the video, which includes music composed by Laurence John Oliver and Jeff Steven.
“Sofa utopia, delivered tomorrow” an onscreen line reads at the end of the advert, which informs that potential buyers should order before 3PM Monday to Friday for next day delivery.
According to the furniture design start-up, its beautifully designed sofas that are built to last come in easy-to-handle boxes, assembled with no tools and delivered in 24 hours.
The campaign will expand to out of home and press later in the year.
