Apple celebrates college acceptance season and all those students starting their next chapter behind the Mac in one of its latest ads for the new iMac.
The spot features the reaction of a diverse cast of students sitting in front of their Mac and finding out that they have accepted at the university they had chosen. Almost all of them are screaming and cheering, happy that their wish came true.
“New beginnings. Behind the Mac.” an onscreen line reads at the end of the 30-second ad, which features the 2015 song “Come Back” by Tom Misch.
For its new campaign, Apple has also teamed up with FINNEAS. The 23-year-old singer, songwriter, producer, and five-time Grammy Award winner, known for working with his younger sister, Billie Eilish, gives an in-depth look at how he creates behind the Mac. Calling it “the last instrument I learned”, he shows how the next generation of makers need only the Mac and an idea to express themselves on a global scale. The song used in that video is his song “Can’t Wait To Be Dead”.
The iMac (starting from $1299), featuring the best camera, mics, and speakers in a Macs, will be available in seven vibrant colors. People will be able to order it starting April 30 and deliveries will be done second half of May.
