Chevrolet has launched a new ad for its all-electric Bolt EUV.
The commercial shows three friends in the new, all-electric Bolt EUV driving along a road, at night. While the girl in the backseat watches on her tablet Guardians of the Galaxy (more specifically the scene in which Groot spreads light), the driver decides to use the available Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance feature, which allows him to take his hands off the steering wheel and enjoy the ride more relaxed.
At the end of the video, when a Baby Groot figurine is featured, the voiceover says that, “When imagination meets power, the galaxy of possibilities awaits”.
Super Cruise, which marks a Chevrolet first, is a hands-free driving assistance feature for compatible roads, which utilizes advanced technologies like LiDAR mapping, to offer the ease and convenience of hands-free driving. It is possible to be used on compatible roa Baby Groot is the tiny version of the bounty-hunting plant creature, that was also the partner of Rocket Raccoon. Baby Groot resulted from Groot’s heroic sacrifice toward the end of the first “Guardians of the Galaxy” movie, where the tree creature used his ability to grow branches to encircle the other Guardians and protect them as the ship they were aboard crashed. Groot’s body was then destroyed, all except a small twig clipping, which Rocket grew in a pot into a new Groot.
Serving as soundtrack is Daniel Edwardson’s 1974 single “Rock Riot” from his “Kpm 1000 Series: Discotheque” album.
The automaker gave people a first look at the all-new all-electric 2022 Bolt EUV earlier this year, in February. It has an electric torque with 250 miles of range, standard Dual Level Charge Cord with a changeable plug, giving you a choice between level 1 and level 2 charging.
