Nissan has released a new commercial to celebrate its status as Official Partner of March Madness.
Titled “the Chase,” the spot features a young man who gets at the wheel of his 2021 Nissan Sentra to follow a runaway basketball that eventually leads him to Indianapolis, where the 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament takes place.
At the end of the ad, which is set to the tune of King Coleman’s “The Boo Boo Song,” the voiceover says “The chase
is over, the game is on. Nissan. Official Partner of March Madness”.
The ad includes a special appearance by FaZe Clan, Nissan’s eSports partner. The automaker will also run another
spot during NCAA tournament games including during Nissan’s Tip-Off pregame show, that will focus on the all-new 2021 Nissan Rogue.
As part of the March Madness-themed campaign, fans will be offered a range of digital experiences, including an
online bracket challenge in partnership with CBS Sports and content from the Nissan Fan Cave, where the all-new 2021 Nissan Rogue will be on full display. Fans can participate in CBS Sports’ 2021 NCAA Bracket Challenge presented by Nissan for a chance to win a new 2021 Rogue and tickets to the 2022 Final Four.
Wendy’s has also dropped a new ad, starring Reggie Miller and Kenny Smith, to highlight its status as Official
Breakfast of March Madness.
