Netflix Movies: A Week Away – Trailer Songs

Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming romance movie A Week Away.

According to the official synopsis, the film follows troubled teen Will Hawkins (Kevin Quinn), who – after having a run-in with the law, must choose between going to juvenile detention or attending a Christian summer camp. “At first a fish-out-of-water, Will opens his heart, discovers love with a camp regular (Bailee Madison), and sense of belonging in the last place he expected to find it,” the synopsis also reveals.

The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at the movie action, from the moment Will goes to the Aweegaway Camp, a church camp, as he calls it, where he learns from the man who owns it that “aweegaway” means that, “every once in a while somebody is just a week away from an experience that changed everything for them”. His encounter with Avery, his love interest, and the dynamic of their relationship are also included in the trailer, which features several songs included on the movie soundtrack, such as “Let’s Go Make a Memory” (performed by Kevin Quinn, Bailee Madison, Jahbril Cook, Kat Conner Sterling and Iain Tucker), “Place In This World” (performed by Kevin Quinn and Bailee Madison), and “Best Thing Ever (Stage Version), performed by Quinn.

A Week Away also features music from Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, For King and Country, and more.

The movie will launch on Netflix next month, on March 26.
