HBO Max has dropped a trailer for its upcoming drama series Genera+ion.
Created by 19-year-old Zelda Barnz with her dad, filmmaker Daniel Barnz, and produced by Lena Dunham, the show follows the lives of modern high schoolers exploring their sexuality from the confines of their conservative community.
The cast includes Justice Smith, Nathanya Alexander, Chloe East, Nava Mau, Lukita Maxwell, Haley Sanchez, Uly Schlesinger, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Marth Plimpton, and Chase Sui Wonders.
The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at the ups and lows the teenagers experience, showing how they navigate life and tackle various issues.
The songs used in the trailer are “I Like Boys” by Todrick Hall and “Rager teenager!” by Troye Sivan.
The first three episodes of Generation premiere on March 11 on HBO Max.
