GAP has released an anthem for its Nxt Gen Gap campaign, which celebrates “a generation dedicated to using their
voices for change, using action as expression, and uniting to lead us all forward”.
The spot features Ina Bhoopalam, co-founder of global youth-led organization Dream Equal, which tackles gender
inequality, anti-bullying activist Nandi Hildebrand, who’s also founder of Nandi’s Anti-Bullying Youth Club,
activist Jaden Winn, who’s also founder of Youth Igniting Change, and Jackhil Jackson, equality activist and founder of Project I Am project, rocking pieces from the brand’s new collection, which includes oversized tunic sweatshirts, recycled biker shorts, sky high leggings, tie-dye joggers, skinny ankle jeans with max stretch, graphic T-shirts,recycled T-shirts, crop hoodies, and more – all now available for purchase on the brand’s website.
According to the brand, each piece in the Nxt Gen Gap collection, which was inspired by real teens making the world
a better place, was designed to save water and reduce waste.
The song used in the ad is the 1965 hit single “My Generation” by the English rock band the Who, from their debut
studio album of the same name.
