Beko promotes its waching machine with SteamCure technology in a new TV commercial, featuring Barcelona players Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets and Marc-André ter Stegen.
The spot opens with a girl reminding her dad, who’s sitting on the sofa, watching a football game, that it’s time for him to train. He comes up with the excuse that his sports shirt is dirty, but his daughter brings over some “friends” who save the day. Messi, Piqué, and Stegen show up and, first of all, help him clean his shirt by throwing it in a Beko waching machine with SteamCure technology, which ensures easier stain removal and has a new look.
The song used in the ad has lyrics that include “Everytime I look at you, I don’t know what I’m to do. Do you know what I’ve been do trying to convince you of something new”.
This is not the first time Barcelona football stars are featured in a commercial for the Turkish domestic appliance brand, which is the main partner of FC Barcelona. In 2019, Messi, Piqué, Arda Turan and Luis Suarez appeared in a spot for Beko’s AquaTech washing machine.
