Netflix has released the date announcement trailer for its upcoming Spanish series Sky Rojo, from the creators of Money Heist.
Created by Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato, the series, which aims to show “the impunity, ambiguity and brutal reality of prostitution, and the psychological portraits of those on both sides of the scale,” revolves around a Cuban, an Argentine and a Spanish woman, all of them prostitutes, who flee from their pimp.
The cast includes Verónica Sánchez, Yani Prado, Lali Esposito, Asier Etxeandia, Miguel Angel Silvestre, Mariana Salazar, José Manuel Poga, and more.
The trailer includes a variety of scenes featuring the three protagonists and announces that Sky Rojo will launch on Netflix this spring, on March 19.
The song used in the trailer is the 2019 version of “Con altura”, originally by Rosalía, performed by the girl group Ginebras.
