Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming film I Care a Lot, starring Rosamund Pike.
According to the official synopsis, the show revolves around Marla Grayson, CEO & founder of Grayson Guardian, who drains the savings of her elderly wards and meets her match when a woman she tries to swindle turns out to be more than she first appears.
The cast also includes Peter Dinklage, Eiza González, Dianne Wiest, and Chris Messina.
The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at the events, without revealing too much, though. In one of the scenes she introduces herself saying “I’m just someone who cares. A man takes her to court, accusing her of forcing the old people into the home, auctioning off their house and using the proceeds to pay herself, which is what she does. However, it is revealed that her latest target, Jennifer Peterson, is off-limits and has very powerful friends that can make life very uncomfortable for Marla.
The film, which also showcases some of the positive reviews it received, features the song “Kitty Kitty” by De Staat.
I Care a Lot will launch on the streaming service next month, on February 19.
