Mercedes-Benz showcases the all-new EQA, the first all-electric member of the compact car vehicle lineup from Mercedes-Benz.
The spot follows a young woman in the city, charging her EQA and then driving outside the city and asking her virtual assistant in the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) to take her to her jogging spot. Viewers get a glimpse at the SUV’s exterior design, which features a black panel radiator grille with central star, that is the hallmark of Mercedes-EQ, a continuous light strip at front and rear, a hrizontal fibre-optic strip that connects the daytime running lights of the full-LED headlamps, LED tail lamps merging seamlessly into the tapered LED light strip, and light-alloy wheels in a bi- or tri-colour design.
Serving as soundtrack is an uplifting song, that puts viewers in the mood for jogging and working out.
EQA is the name of the new entry-level model to the all-electric world of Mercedes-EQ vehicles.
Described as “a close relation of the GLA,” the EQA delivers all the thrilling characteristics of that vehicle, combined in this case with an efficient electric powertrain. It also boasts various exceptional Mercedes-Benz functions, such as ENERGIZING Comfort and MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience).
Built in Rastatt (Germany) and Beijing (China), the electric SUV will be available from the European dealerships starting this spring.
At the end of the 2019, the automaker enlisted The Weeknd to promote its EQC 400 4MATIC. The commercial featured the artist’s hit single “Blinding Lights”.
