Walmart promotes its Holiday Drone Light Show, which goes live on Saturday, 12/5, 7:40 PM EST, in a new ad, urging us to end the year looking up together.
The spot invites viewers to come and watch their favorite holiday songs brought to life through the magic of drones, while in the background Sia’s “Candy Cane Lane” (from her Everyday Is Christmas” album). The song is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.
Those are are not among the 8 lucky local communities where the show will run, have the chance to watch it on December 5, at 7:40 PM EST, on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. Besides the thrilling drone light show, the event, which will be approximately an hour long, will also include a short holiday film. Tickets are free, but must be requested in advance. For everyone’s safety, tickets will not be available at the gate. Gates open 90 minutes prior to show time. Weekday shows start at 7:00 PM and weekend shows start at 6:00 PM. To ensure everyone’s safety, parking spaces will be socially distanced and a maximum of five persons per vehicle will be allowed. In case you’re wondering what to bring, the mask is required when outside of your vehicle and an FM radio is required for audio. (A car radio works just fine).
