KFC has released the trailer for its Lifetime original mini-movie A Recipe for Seduction.
The movie, which is 15 minutes long, stars Mario Lopez as Colonel Sanders, who joins a rich family at their mansion as their new chef, with a secret fried chicken recipe and a dream. The female lead, a young heiress forced by her mother to marry a rich suitor, falls in love with Sanders, but things soon take a dramatic turn as their relationship is not wanted.
The trailer reveals that the heiress’ mother asks her daughter’s suitor, whom she flirts with, to kill Harland Sanders.
A Recipe for Seduction is set to premiere on Lifetime on Sunday, December 13, at 12 p.m.
Lifetime promoted its new mini-movie by sharing a poster on Twitter featuring Lopez as a ripped version of Colonel Sanders, along with the tweet “Mark your calendars because Lifetime and @KFC have partnered for a Lifetime Original Mini-Movie you don’t want to miss”.
The Saved by The Bell star is the latest the impersonate the iconic fast-food personality. He thus joined the likes of Darrell Hammond, Jim Gaffigan, George Hamilton, Dolph Ziggler, Rob Riggle, Vincent Kartheiser, Billy Zane, Ray Liotta, Rob Lowe and more.
