Amazon continues its “Spend Less, Smile More” campaign with a new installment, featuring Lisa.
The spot, based on the same idea, that the protagonist is getting their holiday shopping done early at Amazon, features the young woman buying online, from the Amazon app, the things she needs, and having time to be “Holiday Lisa,” which means spending quality time with her friends, playing charades, and entertaining them. The voiceover says that everybody loves Holiday Lisa and urges her to never change.
The commercial ends with the tagline “Spend Less. Smile More.” flashing across the screen.
The soundtrack music is the 1990 single The Power by the German music group Snap!, from their album “World Power”.
A previous ad showed a mother named Tessa who saved early on her holiday shopping and had the time to get everyone looking their best and their “boxiest”. A commercial for Cyber Monday, which took place from November 28 through November 30, featured Doug, who was able to be Holiday Dougie, which means he painted a painting of himself with a saxophone in his hands.
