Walmart has released a new commercial to highlight that you can find everything you need and more.
The 60-second spot, titled “America’s Cart,” features a diverse cast of people of different ages and walks of life as they are ordering various products from Walmart. A young man buys a knit beanie winter hat, another one, who’s going shopping for groceries, is reminded by his wife to buy also yeast, a woman orders online hand sanitizer, a man orders 8 packs of Cheez-It Baked Snack Cheese Crackers and enjoys them in the bathtub, while taking a long bath, another man orders a Health O Meter digital bathroom scale, which he then pushes away, a young woman decides to purchase a mid back mesh ergonomic office chair since her office moved to her living room, one man turns the bright sunny summer days of lockdown into a nice memory with an inflatable pool, where he and his kids have fun.
“This year was like any other year. Until it wasn’t,” onscreen lines read throughout the 60-second ad, which also features other items available for purchase at Walmart, such as a ceramic mug for fathers, a Believe by Brilliance Sterling Silver “I Love You To The Moon And Back” Pendant Necklace, and more.
The song used in the ad is “You’re All I Need to Get By” by Aretha Franklin.
