DICK’S Sporting Goods has released its Christmas commercial, showing how a whole gang of gifts work together to deliver a holiday surprise.
The spot features several objects at Dick’s distribution center, including Mitt, Hoodie, and Paddle, that decide to set out on a mission. They run away from the building, get into a van and hit the road to eventually place themselves under a family’s Christmas tree.
The soundtrack music is Chuck Berry’s 1986 single Run Rudoplh Run, from the “Rock ‘N’ Roll Rarities” album. The song is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.
Last year, the Coraopolis-based sporting goods retail company let viewers discover what happens in a Dick’s store after hours, through the eyes of a young girl, who catches a glimpse of how items at Dick’s Sporting Goods, from golf, baseball, basketball, soccer and ping pong equipment, celebrate their free time.
