Google has released a new ad to introduce Nest Audio, a smart speaker that will fill any room with amazing sound.
The spot features different rooms where Nest Audio speakers are placed and play various playlists, including a quite regular living room, a room filled with plants, and a giraffe room.
The voiceover informs that you can also connect two for stereo sound and that you can move music from room to room, adding the tagline “Amazing sound in your command. That’s Nest Audio from Google”.
The song playing in the ad is the 1978 single Hold The Line by the American rock band Toto, which was the band’s debut single and was featured on their debut 1978 eponymous album.
The single is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.
The new Nest Audio from Google, priced at $100, is replacing the original Google Home and takes on Amazon’s newest Echo.
Announced on Wednesday, September 30, at the company’s Launch Night In event, the Nest Audio is designed with 70% sustainable materials, features 19mm tweeter for high frequency coverage and clear vocals and 75mm midwoofer for better bass, and comes in five colors: chalk, charcoal, sand, sky and sage.
