Apple has unveiled the iPhone 12 during a live stream event which took place on October 13 and subsequently released an introduction film for the device.
The spot features a diverse cast using the tech giant’s mainstream flagship iPhone for 2020, while onscreen lines highlight that you can shoot, edit, share in Dolby Vision, there is Night Mode on every camera, Ultra Wide selfie, Super Retina XDR Display, A14 Bionic, the fastest smartphone chip ever, all-new Ceramic Shield, 4x better performance, and “oops-resistance” (it is resistant to all kinds of liquids). In addition, there is a whole new way to connect accessories with MagSafe.
The ad also introduces the iPhone 12 Mini, the world’s smallest 5G smartphone. However, this has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission, and is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained.
The soundtrack music is Eat Them Apples by 22-year-old British musician Suzie McDermott, professionally known as Suzi Wu.
The iPhone 12 will roll out to over 100 carriers. It will be available to preorder on October 16th, with shipping on October 23rd. Pro Max and 12 mini will ship November 13th.
Prices start from $999 for Pro with 128GB and from $1,099 for 12 Pro Max.
