Volvo has released a new ad for its XC90 SUV, highlighting that, sometimes, even the best parents need an extra pair of eyes and that the XC90 is equipped with advanced safety features that look after you, like you look after others.
The spot, titled “For Everyone’s Safety,” features a couple of parents who, from the moment their twins are born, dedicate their time and attention to them. They take extra measures inside the house in order to avoid accidents (by covering all the corners and more), but luckily, outside, their Volvo CX90 helps them avoid accidents. The ending scene shows how, when the man goes in reverse, the car suddenly stops thanks to the Standard Cross Traffic Alert with auto-brake and it is thus avoided a collision with a truck that was passing by.
“The car that looks after you, like you look after others” an onscreen line reads at the end of the 30-second ad, which features the song Hard Times In The Mill by Pete Seeger, from the album American Industrial Ballads. The track is available for purchase on Amazon for $0.89.
