Samsung has released the official film for its Galaxy Z Flip 5G, the palm-sized foldable phone with hyperfast speeds.
The 30-second ad showcases the phone without focusing on its features, but only on its design, with a hand putting it in a make-up purse at the end, when the tagline “Change the shape of the future” flashes across the screen.
The soundtrack music is the 2018 single “Whatch What I Do” by musical duo Hey Buko, from their “Hey What?” album.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G, presented as “the phone harnessing the speed of the future,” features a 6.7″ Infinity Flex Display with minimised bezels and no notch, Hideaway Hinge inspired by a lotus blossom and articulated for a satisfying folding motion, and comes in two available shades: Mystic Bronze and Mystic Gray. When you fold, Flex mode splits apps in half and puts the controls on the bottom half- turning the top half into a viewing area.
The phone is available for purchase for £1,399.00 or from £38.87/month for the 256GB version.
