Netflix has released the trailer for the third and final season of its Italian teen drama series Baby.
The show, which first debuted on the streaming service in 2018, is loosely based on the “Baby Squillo” scandal of 2014, where two women from a Rome high school were involved in an underage prostitution ring. The official synopsis for the third season reads “How long can you keep lying to yourself? As the police close in and their secrets begin to surface, Chiara, Ludo and Damiano grapple with volatile family dynamics and a looming public scandal”.
The cast includes Benedetta Porcaroli and Alice Pagani in the leading roles, as Chiara Altieri and Ludovica Storti, respectively, Riccardo Mandolini as Damiano, Giuseppe Maggio as Fiore, Brando Pacitto as Fabio, Mirko Trova as Brando, Chabeli Sastre Gonzalez as Camilla, Lorenzo Zurzolo as Niccolò, Claudia Pandolfi as Monica, Galatea Ranzi as Elsa Altieri, Massimo Poggio as Arturo Altieri and Isabella Ferrari as Simonetta.
The trailer, set to the tune of “Vertigine,” the latest single of Levante, composed specifically for the third season of the series, reveals that there will definitely be a trial, with Chiara being the “target” of dozens of journalists.
Season 3 of Baby, consisting of six episodes, will be released on Netflix on September 16.
