British car breakdown and insurance company The AA has released its summer TV ad, part of a new campaign, created by Adam&EveDDB and Goodstuff, and titled “That Feeling”.
The spot, which celebrates the feeling of getting back on the road, features the company’s furry four-legged mascot, a cute dog named Tukker, who loves nothing more than the feeling of being out on the road with the sun on his face and the wind in his fur. While relaxing in his vintage living room, he decides to put on some music on the record player, sit in front of a fan on full power, and visit his happy place. As the music plays, he daydreams of traveling down the road at speed and enjoying the feeling of wind blowing through his hair.
“Love that feeling? We’ll get you back on the road” onscreen lines read at the end of the 50-second video.
The song used in the advert is the 2016 single “Drinkee” by American house and EDM duo Sofi Tukker, from their “Soft Animals” album.
Tukker is a 4-year-old crossbreed and, according to The AA, likes long walks, chewy toys and the wind in his fur and dislikes flat batteries.
