Sabrina Carpenter & Liza Koshy co-star in the upcoming Netflix teen dance comedy Work It, about finding your passion.
According to the official synopsis, the film revolves around Quinn Ackerman, “a brilliant but clumsy high school senior, who vows to get into her late father’s alma mater by transforming herself and a misfit squad into dance champions”.
The cast also includes Keiynan Lonsdale, Drew Ray Tanner, Michelle Buteau and Jordan Fisher.
The trailer shows how Quinn, realizing that her admission to the college of her dreams depends on her extracurricular activities, tries to join the high school dance squad, but she is not accepted because she might ruin the squad’s chance to win an important dance competition. Ambitious, she decides to form her own dance squad, so she sets out to find the best dancers in town and take on the famous squad. However, there is still one more thing for her to do: learn how to dance.
The song used in the trailer is “Let Me Move You” (a song from the movie), performed by Sabrina Carpenter.
Work It will be launched on the streaming service on August 7.
