Hulu has released the trailer for its upcoming film Palm Springs, starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti.
Directed by Max Barbakow and written by Andy Siara, the film revolves around carefree Nyles (Samberg) and Sarah, a reluctant maid of honor. The two, who have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding, find themselves unable to escape the venue, themselves, or each other.
The cast also includes J.K. Simmons, Meredith Hagner, Camila Mendes, Tyler Hoechlin, and Peter Gallagher.
The trailer reveals how the Sarah and Nyles meet and how she ends up in “one of those infinite time loop situations” she might have heard about. Waking up in the same place and the same day every time she falls asleep, she gets tired at some point of all the “meaningless” things, and she doesn’t hesitate to share her thoughts with Nyles, whom she gets fond of.
The trailer, which also shows some of the positive reviews the movie received, features the songs “Time After Time” by Cindy Lauper and “Oh! You Pretty Things” by David Bowie.
Palm Springs premieres July 10 on Hulu.
