Tyson Foods celebrates its long history in a new commercial, highlighting that the brand has been feeding families since 1935.
The protein-focused food company shows, in the 30-second spot, a variety of families of all walks of life, from the past decades and up to the modern days, as they are gathered around the table, for birthday parties, picnics, or simply for having a meal together.
“Feeding families then. Feeding families now.” onscreen lines read throughout the video, which ends with an invitation for viewers to see how Tyson Foods takes care of its family so they can feed theirs.
The soundtrack music is the 2019 single “Family” by Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors.
Tyson Foods says that its frontline workers are giving their best and deserve the best in return, and highlights its commitment to team member safety, our nation’s food production, and navigating this crisis together. The company took a series of extra safety measures in its facilities to ensure the safety of its team members. These include infrared temperature scanners, facial coverings, partitions between work spaces, and more.
Tyson Foods is also committing $13 million to support critical needs in local communities where the company operates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This investment includes $2 million in community grants and more than $11 million worth of products donated by the company since March 11.
