Hulu has released the red band trailer for its new animated sci-fi series Solar Opposites, now streaming.
The sitcom, from Justin Roiland, the co-creator of Rick and Morty, and Mike McMahan, revolves around “a family of aliens trying to fit in on this human-infested crap-hole of a planet called Earth,” according to the official synopsis.
The voice talent includes Justin Roiland as Korvo, Thomas Middleditch as Terry, Sean Giambrone as Yumyulack, Mary Mack as Jesse.
The trailer features some of the challenges the four family members need to face on a daily basis everywhere they go and some of the solutions they come up with to get out of “bad” situations.
“With a little extra effort, I think we can up our likeability,” one of the characters says. However, by the end of the trailer, it turns out they’re causing some real damage, with the city burning down.
The song used in the trailer is the 2015 single “WTF (Where They From)” by American recording artist Missy Elliott, featuring Pharrell Williams, who provides guest verses.
