Warby Parker promotes its own brand of daily contact lens, Scout by Warby Parker, in a new commercial.
“Hi. We’re Warby Parker and eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact strand. That’s right. Contacts. As in our very own comfortable breathable and affordable daily contact lens. Scout by Warby Parker. Which also comes in an easy-to-carry, easy-to-store flat pack that uses about 80% less packaging than traditional contact packs,” the voiceover says on the 30-second spot, adding the tagline “We’ve got your eyes covered”.
On the retailer’s website you can shop all three items and you can also request a 6-day trial pack of Scout contacts for $5 and receive $5 off your next order. The cost for a 3-month supply (for both eyes) is $110. Warby Parker also offers a range of contacts from several other brands, such as CooperVision Biofinity, Acuvue Oasys, and more.
The retailer says that its own-brand contacts are made from a super-moist material that resists drying for lasting hydration and comfort. The flat pack is also more hygienic and reduces the need to touch the inner surface. There are 90 daily lenses in every box, which is made from recycled materials used throughout the lens manufacturing process.
