SEAT has dropped a new ad for its Mii electric, the brand’s first all-electric car.
The advert shows a diverse cast of dancers showing off their dance moves near the SEAT Mii electric to the rhythms of the 2019 single “OMG” by Zambia-born, Sydney-based rapper Sampa the Great, from her debut album of the same name, while onscreen lines highlight some of the most important features of the compact electric battery-powered supermini. Thus, viewers get to learn that the all-electric Mii is “Smooth,” “Free,” “Fun,” “Handy,” “Simple,” has 161-mile range, a 0-31 mph launch in 3.9 seconds, rear parking sensors and rain sensors.
Designed to be “the perfect city car,” the SEAT Mii electric has an electric motor that produces 83 horsepower and 212Nm of torque instantly, a 36.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack that guarantees 161 miles of range on a single charge, an AC 7.2kW home charger that takes four hours to reach 80% full, and rapid DC 40.kW charging, that achieves the same percentage in just one hour.
The SEAT Mii electric opened for UK ordering on 24th October, becoming one of the most affordable electric vehicles at a starting price of £19,300.
The Spanish automotive brand aimed thus to give everyday drivers the possibility to make the eco-friendly switch without paying huge amounts of money.
