Matalan Real Life Ready Advert Song

Matalan TV Advert Girls - Real Life Ready

Matalan had released brand new TV ad to showcase its new collections for women, men, kids, as well as the new Home collection.

The spot, titled “Real Life Ready,” depicts a variety of everyday scenarios and a diverse cast rocking pieces from the new Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Thus, a lady getting ready for a date is wearing a puff sleeve ditsy floral midi dress and struts as if she’s on the catwalk while going to throw away the garbage, a mother is wearing a floral slogan 100% cotton PJ set, another woman is rocking a “hello” slogan T-shirt and a blazer at the office, another one is dancing in her bedroom in matching bra and knickers, a mother ready to take her kids to school is wearing a short sleeve denim jumpsuit, a group of three friends are going to a zumba class, and a man who’s initially dressing up for a night date changes his mind and opts for a polo shirt instead.

“We’re here to get you real life ready,” the brand states, promising to get you covered with the latest looks to breeze through Spring and say “whatever” to the weather.

The song used in the ad is the 2014 single “Real Love” by English electronic group Clean Bandit and English singer and songwriter Jess Glynne, taken from the special edition of the group’s album “New Eyes” and Glynne’s album “I Cry When I Laugh”.
