BMW has released a shorter version of the campaign film for the BMW 1 Series.
The spot shows a blue BMW M135i xDrive with optional equipment as it drives down a street, while in the background the 2017 song “Glue” by electronic music duo Bicep, from his self-titled debut album, is playing.
The new 1, which has been redesigned “to go beyond the journey and co-pilot your life,” boasts a new sporty look with 5-door design, BMW TwinPower Turbo engines, and an enhanced digital eco-system “that seamlessly merges your life into the driving experience.” Optional extras include new 19-inch M Alloy wheels, a wide range of metallic paints such as Storm Bay and Misano Blue, and extended lighting with BMW logo projection.
The BMW 1 Series line-up includes the M Sport, Sport, and M135i. From a running costs perspective, it is available with a Benefit-in-Kind rate between 24% to 35%, with the RDE2 compliant BMW 116d offering the lowest rate at 24%, and a NEDC CO2 range of 157-100g/km.
