Xbox urges people to “Make peace on Earth and mayhem in the Borderlands” this holiday season, in the trailer for
Borderlands 3 – Gift of Mayhem.
The trailer, scored by a rendition of the famous Christmas carol “Silent Night,” includes gameplay footage from the game, as well as positive reviews from publications like IGN, XGN, Shacknews, New York Daily News, Hobby Consoles, and more.
In the original shooter-looter, players blast through new worlds and enemies as one of four new thrill-seeking Vault Hunters, who are the only ones with the arsenal and allies to take down the fanatical Calypso Twin. Players can play solo or with friends to take on insane enemies, score loads of loot and save their home from the most ruthless cult leaders in the galaxy.
All Vault Hunters are capable of awesome mayhem alone, but together they are unstoppable. Their gear includes firearms with self-propelling bullet shields, rifles that spawn fire-spewing volcanoes, and even guns that grow legs and chase down enemies while hurling verbal insults.
The new game features new worlds beyond Pandora, each with unique environments to explore, from hostile deserts to war-torn cityscapes to deadly bayous, and enemies to destroy.
Borderlands 3 Standard Edition is now available for purchase for $59.99.
