The world premiere trailer for Gears Tactics, the fast-paced, turn-based strategy game from one of the most-acclaimed video game franchises – Gears of War, has been released.
Players, who play as the defiant soldier Gabe Diaz and find themselves outnumbered and fighting for survival, must recruit and command their squad to hunt down an evil mastermind who makes monsters. Set 12 years before the first Gears of War, the game features Diaz and his fellows as humanity’s last hope on the planet Sera, when the Locust Horde, led by Ukkon, its evil mastermind, set out to destroy it with monsters they create.
The trailer shows how you can prepare your troops, which include Marcella “Specter” Trinh, Mikayla Dorn, and Sid Redburn, to face their swarming enemies, upgrading their skills and outfitting them with loot collected in challenging missions.
The song used in the trailer is the “The Seeker” by “The Seeker” by The Who.
Gears Tactics is coming April 28, to Steam, Windows 10 & Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta). Those who pre-order Gears Tactics or play Gears Tactics on Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) before May 4, 2020 can receive the Thrashball Cole Character Pack.
