IKEA UK has launched its first-ever Christmas ad, featuring grime MC D Double E.
The 90-second spot, titled “Silence the Critics,” shows a number of ornaments coming to life and shaming a couple for their “disgusting” home decor. They comment on the state of the walls, of the floor, a couple of ceramic snails say of the table they are on that’s older than the Piramids, and more. However, they are all soon brought to silence when the family spruce up the place with some new flat-pack pieces, a new lamp, a colorful rug, a sofa, and some new home decor.
“Silence the critics. IKEA. The Wonderful Everyday,” the voiceover says at the end of the advert.
