Citroën showcases its C5 AIRCROSS Plug-In Hybrid SUV in a new advert.
The spot encourages people who enjoy all kinds of noises, such as the alarm, the blender, and the bustle of the open office, to set the noise to mute and enjoy the silence. “At Citroën, we believe true comfort begins with silence. With the new Citroën C5 AIRCROSS SUV Hybrid, the first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle in Citroën’s range.
Enjoy the silence in its 100% electric mode on your everyday ride,” the voiceover says on the almost 2-minute video, which informs that the vehicle features a range of 31 miles in full-electric mode, up to 84 MPH, and three driving modes – hybrid, electric and sport.
The advert, scored by the 2017 single “Fading Away” by French electronic band Napkey, ends with the voiceover mentioning that the C5 AIRCROSS is adapted to every road and every activity and urging viewers to enjoy the exceptional comfort of the new Citroën C5 AIRCROSS SUV Hybrid and leverage the whole potential of their SUV’s interior modularity. The voiceover also adds the tagline “Never has the road been so comfortable”.
