Microsoft showcases the Surface Duo in a new commercial, illustrating how the dual-screen device, with two side-by-side 5.6″ displays connected by a revolutionary 360° hinge, brings together the best of Microsoft and Android to reimagine productivity on the go.
The spot features a young woman using the Surface Duo to do a variety of things, such as answering incoming calls, going through her e-mail, spanning application across the two screens, viewing a website and continuing to go through her email at the same time, moving her content to the second screen, write, and more.
The soundtrack music is a cover mashup that includes Flo Rida’s 2012 single “Good Feeling” from his fourth studio album, “Wild Ones”, Etta James’ “Something’s Got a Hold on Me,” and Christina Aguilera’s “Oh, It Must Be Love”.
Microsoft Surface Duo is scheduled to launch holiday 2020.
The new Surface family, presented by Microsoft at an event held on October 2, 2019, also includes Surface Earbuds, which are also coming soon, the new Surface Pro X, an edge-to-edge 2-in-1 laptop with LTE and 13″ touchscreen, the Surface Pro 7, featuring 12.3″ touchscreen with tablet-to-laptop versatility, Surface Laptop 3, available with 13.5″ or new 15″ touchscreen, Surface Book 2, the brand’s most powerful 13.5″ or 15″ touchscreen laptop, Surface Studio 2, Surface Headphones, and Surface Go, the smallest, lightest Surface with 10″ touchscreen.
