Just Eat announces its sponsorship of The X Factor for the third year running with a series of light-hearted idents, created by McCann London.
The spots celebrate, according to the British online food order and delivery service, “the joy of a Saturday night takeaway coupled with the nation’s favourite talent show to illustrate that joy can come in many forms.” One of the videos features a family around the dinner table, getting ready to enjoy their Just Eat order, when the unicorn phone case of the teenage girl begins to sing “Did somebody say ‘Just Eat’?”.
“Just Eat proudly sponsors the X Factor,” the voiceover says at the end of the advert.
The other spots also feature inanimated objects that come to life to perform the Just eat musical tagline “Did somebody say ‘Just Eat’?” Among them are famous paintings in a gallery, a wall poster and a teeth toy.
