Lancôme has tapped Zendaya, Penelope Cruz, and Suzy Bae to star in its latest campaign for L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream.
Zendaya features in a spot that invites ladies to get “a radiant, sophisticated & ultra-pigmented lip color with rich creamy formula and luminous finish with L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream”. The long-lasting lipstick comes in 15 shades and 3 limited edition packs.
Clad in a satin red jumpsuit, the American actress, singer and fashion authority, who was announced new Lancome ambassador, showcases the brand’s L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream, while the words “Rare,” “Unique,” and “Bold” are flashing across the screen. The soundtrack is “Your Loft My Acid” by British electronica band Death in Vegas, featuring guest vocals by Katie Stelmanis, from their fifth album, “Trans-Love Energies”.
The new lipsticks, which extend the L’Absolu lipstick lineup, are – according to the brand – 25% more pigmented, more long-wearing (up to six hours), and moisturizing. Among the available shades are the Bad Blood Ruby, Sunshine Ruby, Queen Ruby, and RubieZ, Zendaya’s signature shade, retailing at $32 each.
