Dior advertises its new Dreamskin Care & Perfect in a new commercial, featuring Cara Delevingne.
The spot introduces the product as “the new global age-defying skincare perfect skin creator” and features the 27-year-old model sporting an all-natural look, while in the background the song “Instinct” by Roy Woods (feat. MadeinTYO), is playing. The voiceover says the new Dreamskin Care & Perfect is “even more powerful, naturally perfecting for longer” and that “skin is more hydrated, visibly smooth, and luminous”.
The brand also states that this new skin-perfecting formula, designed to be effective at any age, on all skin types and tones, features a boosted technology to help skin appear smoother, more plumped and luminous, and improve skin quality day after day.
Cara Delevingne is also the face of Dior’s “Capture Youth” skincare range, designed to fight the first signs of aging.
The campaign, targeted at millennials and women in their thirties willing to deal with aging and skin concerns, drew criticism due to the fact that the brand enlisted a 25-year-old model (she was 25 at the time) to advertise the product line-up, which includes Plump Filler, Glow Booster, Lift Sculptor, Matte Maximizer, Redness Soother, and an Age-Delay Advanced Creme.
The new Dreamskin Care & Perfect is available for purchase for $115. The Dreamskin range also includes a 1-minute youth-perfecting mask and moist & perfect cushion spf50.
