The trailer for the NBA 2K20’s highly-anticipated MyCAREER mode, which enables players to experience the life of a modern-day NBA athlete both on and off the court, has been released.
The cinematic trailer, entitled “When The Lights Are Brightest” and revealed during Microsoft’s Inside Xbox show live from Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, features a star-studded cast, including Idris Elba and Rosario Dawson.
Created in partnership with LeBron James’s SpringHill Entertainment, an award-winning content company that he co-founded with Maverick Carter, the story shows the obstacles athletes must face and tackles issues like demands on and off the court, pressures of fame, and outside influences.
The song used in the trailer is the 2018 single “When I Make History” by Hunnit feat. Makio.
2K20 will be available on September 6. Starting today, August 21, gamers can download the demo, getting thus an early opportunity to build up their MyCareer player with the ability to carry over the progress into the actual game.
