Gucci has released the campaign film for Gucci Mémoire d’une Odeur, the universal fragrance by Alessandro Michele.
Directed by Glen Luchford, the video features Harry Styles as the member of a free-spirited family who embrace life without inhibitions, making memories together. The cast also includes designer Harris Reed, artist Ariana Papademetropoulos, actor and musician Stanislas Klossowski de Rola, designer and musician Zumi Rosow, artist Olimpia Dior model and musician Leslie Winer, and models Thomas Riguelle, Tex Santos-Shaw, Tessa Bruinsma, Olga Zapivokhina, Oleg Ulrich, Matïss Rucko, Mae Lapres, William Valente, Katea Gramma, Unia Pakhomova, Ellia Sophia, Elibeidy Dani Martinez, and Cheikh Tall. They are all shown dancing, picnicking at sun kissed ruins of Canale Monterano – a village with ruins from the mid 17th century in the countryside of Rome, and in and around their family home, the medieval Montecalvello Castle.
The soundtrack music is “In Every Dream Home a Heartache” by Roxy Music, which appears on the 1973 album “For Your Pleasure” and on the 1995 box set “The Thrill of It All”.
Singer, songwriter and actor Harry Styles also starred in the Italian label’s Men’s Tailoring 2019 Cruise Campaign, featuring a pig, a statue and a headscarf.
