FOX has released a first trailer for this year’s Emmy’s broadcast.
“The world has woken to Emmy fever, in their own backyards, to celebrate Hollywood’s golden night, leaving cities twinkling like stars,” the voiceover says in the opening of the promo, titled “Celebrating Hollywood’s Golden Night,” which features the Emmy statue showing up in various locations from across the world, including London (London Bridge), Rome, Paris, Barcelona, New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, St. Louis, Niagara Falls, and more.
Serving as soundtrack is “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” by Panic! at the Disco’s.
The 71st annual Emmy Awards, which doesn’t have a host, will air live from the Microsoft Theater at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Fox.
