The trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy Can You Keep a Secret? starring Alexandra Daddario, has been released.
The movie, which marks the feature directorial debut of TV producer / director Elise Duran, is adapted from Sophie Kinsella’s best-selling novel of the same name and stars Daddario as Emma, a New York City marketing manager Emma who tells all of her secrets to a stranger sitting next to her on the plane, on her flight home from a botched client meeting. Her life is turned upside down when she realizes the respective handsome guy whom she thought will remain a stranger is her company’s young CEO.
The film also stars Tyler Hoechlin, Sunita Mani, Kimiko Glenn, Laverne Cox, and Kate Easton.
The trailer shows how Emma’s life changes when the guy she shared her secrets with, named Jack, becomes a constant presence in her life both at work and in her spare time. The two begin to date, but apparently, Jack is not so willing to reveal his secrets.
The song used in the trailer is “Something Worth Fighting For” by Josh Auer, from his “Pick up the Pieces” album.
Can You Keep a Secret? debuts in select theaters + on VOD starting September 13th.
