Jeep and Jeremy Renner have partnered for the sixth edition of the car manufacturer’s “Summer of Jeep” campaign.
The American actor and musician, recently announced as the face and voice of the new campaign, appears in four ads, performing new singles.
One of the ads, dubbed “Ride Swap,” sees him exiting a diner in the company of his crew members, to his travel bus, used for his Roadhouse Tour. Noticing a 2019 Jeep Wrangler arriving on the spot, he agrees with the driver to swap vehicles, so the rest of the video features him at the wheel of the Wrangler, which was named “SUV of the Year 2019” by Motortrend. On stage, at the concert he was supposed to perform, he sings a new single, entitled “Sign”.
Olivier Francois, FCA’s Chief Marketing Officer, said of Renner, who has thus joined past Summer of Jeep artists like X Ambassadors, OneRepublic and Will.I.Am, that “He’s not just the on-screen action hero. He is a true Renaissance man with talents that go well beyond acting, as he continues to show us with the introduction of his new music, which is authentic, honest rock’n’roll, and aligns with the same spirit and philosophy of the Jeep brand”.
