Hulu has released the official trailer for its upcoming miniseries “Four Weddings and a Funeral”.
The romantic comedy show, created by Mindy Kaling, revolves around Maya, the young communications director for a New York senatorial campaign, who leaves her professional and personal life behind and travel to England, after receiving a wedding invitation from her college schoolmate now living in London. As she reconnects with old friends, she ends up in the midst of their personal crises, according to the official synopsis, which also reveals that “Relationships are forged and broken, political scandals exposed, London social life lampooned, love affairs ignited and doused, and of course there are four weddings… and a funeral”.
The cast includes Nathalie Emmanuel, Zoe Boyle, Guz Khan, Sophia La Porta, Harish Patel, Nikesh Patel, John Reynolds, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Brandon Mychal Smith.
The song used in the trailer is the 2019 single “I Found U” by Passion Pit, a collaboration with Swedish dance-pop production duo Galantis.
Four Weddings and a Funeral debuts on Hulu this summer, on July 31.
